This Pina Colada Turmeric Smoothie is nourishing and the sunshiny color is brought to you by turmeric — only a small amount is needed! Benefits from this spice include anti-inflammatory effects which may reduce inflammation and arthritis-related pain and swelling. The key word is may as it depends on how often you take it and the quality of the turmeric. If in doubt, spend a tiny bit more for your organic foods, herbs and spices.
This tropical smoothie will take only a few minutes to make. The nourishing, golden-hued smoothie contains four main ingredients: vegan coconut milk, fresh chilled pineapple chunks, creamy banana, and turmeric. It’s also wonderful for glowing skin, digestion, and a little sunshine in a glass. 💛

1 ripe banana [fresh or frozen]

Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender.
Blend until smooth and golden.
Adjust sweetness and spice to taste.

Use a frozen banana for a thicker, creamier texture.
