Looking for a refreshing, healthy smoothie that tastes like a tropical getaway in a glass? This Frozen Pink Dragonfruit Smoothie is your new pick-me-up! It’s naturally vibrant from the bright magenta hue of pink dragonfruit (also known as pitaya), sweetened with ripe banana, and made extra creamy and delicious with coconut milk. Whether you’re starting your day or cooling down in the afternoon or evening, this vegan, dairy-free smoothie is packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and mood-lifting tropical flavor.
Ingredients:
4 ounces frozen pink dragonfruit (pitaya) chunks
4 ounces frozen strawberries
8 ounces chilled coconut milk
1 sliced frozen banana
Instructions:
Add the frozen dragonfruit, strawberries, banana, and coconut milk to a high-speed blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a chilled glass and top with coconut flakes, chia seeds, or fresh fruit for extra flair!
🍍 Tips:
The frozen banana creates a creamier, frosty texture.
Canned full-fat coconut milk will give you a richer and even tastier smoothie.
Turn it into a smoothie bowl and top with sliced kiwi and/or pineapple slices for a vitamin C-filled breakfast.
