Continue to get email about my other site, EverythingShea.com being shut down because of a vacation I'm taking, but all I can say is that I don't know when it will be back. Meanwhile, I've sold a few articles for The Pampered Pet Magazine, one for the September 2009 issue of Long Island Woman, and two for an online health magazine, EnvyMyHealth.com.

I'm also working on a book about making bath & body products. Those hundreds of recipes I've formulated over the years need to be seen and tried!

The "You need to read!" slogan came to me while I was visiting a Barnes & Noble bookstore recently. I saw how empty the store appeared. All those shelves and tables full of books looking bereft...and that's how I thought that if more people read books, bought books, or borrowed books from the library, the better off we all will be. Readers can be thinkers and thinkers can come up with ways to solve problems. So, support us writers and read. Read for fun, entertainment, knowledge, and escape. It's good for you!
